Engineering

Engineering is based on practical problem solving activities that are mostly completed in groups. We learn how to design, build, develop and test devices to solve a given problem or design brief. Some activities involve the use of computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacture (CADCAM) technology including a 3D printer. Students in Y8 compete in the annual Bloodhound Microbit Rocket Car Contest.
